They specialise in the investment and pensions marketplace using their own investment management guided by substantial access to fund data. The Business requires an experienced Financial Services Manager to 'free up' much of the Owner's time to allow him to spend even more time with his clients. In addition the successful applicant will manage and motivate the existing small team including a Paraplanner and Trainee IFA. More specifically: Create internal service standards, business processes and procedures and review on ongoing basis. Ensure all business service activities comply with relevant acts, legal and regulatory requirements and ethical standards. Manage all IT services Manage the team and train new members plus HR duties Direct the accounting functions and prepare business forecasts whilst ensuring FCA requirements are fulfilled. As such the role will include providing business ideas, target setting, putting bespoke training in place and generally working in partnership to achieve the various owners ambitions - both in terms of quality and quantity of business. The area is widespread to include You will also work closely with Compliance and Recruitment Managers to provide a 'joined up' service to the Advisers. You will need to be qualified to at least level 4 (and preferably beyond) with a background of Senior Sales Management (probably including a Supervisory qualification) within the investment and maybe pension sales marketplace.
